Ordinaria - Zamoras Nuptial
Author: ViolisimoFernando // Category: Cake, Catering, Couple's Cakehaus, Dipolog, Gulayon, Royal Farm, wedding cakes, Zamboanga del NorteHey, everyone, just an update. I stopped blogging last year because I didn't feel comfortable putting everyone's wedding days on the internet :) But btw, those couples gave me permission anyway. But since this site shows up when you search "Wedding Cake Dipolog" for 5 terms in the top 10 on google, it would be a big waste to take it down. But we still serve wedding cakes. Please head over to http://www.facebook.com/pages/Couples-Cakehaus-and-Pasalubong-Dipolog/187747184571203 or www.couplescake.co.cc for pictures. We regularly check the FB page and also couplescake@yahoo.com. Or call us at (065)212-2099 or 908-2582. Thanks for your interest in getting married here in Dipolog City, and we wish you a happy marriage.
Another cake another time, I see cake all the time,
Another cake another time, I see cake all the time,
And while it's there, I'll be waiting.
I thought I'd spice up this post with couplets, so here goes:
On the twenty-eighth of May,
A couple joined their way,
They were man and wife,
And will have a single life,
From that self-same day.
At a Farm Royal, they went,
When religious ceremony was spent,
And celebration due.
'Twas a color of blood,
A shade of color fine,
Reminding of the promises made, from the single "I do," line
The reception theme no ordinary,
For it was the shade of a shiny Ferrari!
(seriously, it was Ferrari Red)
Crimson petals on the pink,
Quite elegant, I'd think.
Sixteen mini cakes surround,
The three main hills abound.
Inches six, in all the height,
Making cake a main delight,
Six, nine, and twelve across,
Icing never is at loss.
May "wine," so sweet, and bitterness none,
Used for sipping and was quickly done.
The candle of union, so well lit,
Was done after a little bit.
The reception done and I've had my fill,
I'd talked to the EMCEE's who lingered there still.
Two were there but one was of note,
Benette Jan Javier-Comodas, was a Dumaguete DJ, quote, unquote.
We got to talking, and soon I found, another contact for weddings,
Some here and some around.
I gave her a sample of our cake fare,
And bid her good day, and left some cards there.
Now my tale is near done, but I missed but one fact,
The groom's name was Julius, and Sheena the bride,
His surname Ordinaria, and hers was Zamora.
Now if you find this little post amusing, please dispense with tact.
Comment below, and make friends attract.
But seriously, I think, the organization was fair,
And improvement was needed on the orderly flair.
Benette did perform, her task quite well.
Ad-lib kept the ball rolling, and success was there.
I suppose bashfulness kept the bridesmaids away,
For the game that was played, the roses were thrown,
But few hands caught it, and the game was soon blown.
The garter fared worse, with not much giving a care.
But anyway, free will was the right of a guest.
But so far on a scale, with ten as the best,
I'll give this a seven, and you, judge the rest.
